Billiet has been named a 2026 Managing Partner Winner by Maryland Daily Record, an inaugural honor recognizing leaders in the legal and financial sectors who demonstrate vision, integrity and measurable impact on their organizations and communities. Ms. Billiet was recognized for her professional achievements, commitment to developing talent and meaningful contributions to Waranch & Brown and the broader community.
This recognition follows Ms. Billiet’s selection a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America. In addition, Ms. Billiet is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the DC Bar Association, the Baltimore County and Baltimore City Bar Associations, the Maryland Defense Counsel, the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and American Legal Connections.
Ms. Billiet brings extensive experience defending medical malpractice cases, as well as representing physicians, nurses and other health care providers in a variety of Board of Physician, guardianship and hospital privileging matters. She has led many trial teams, obtaining defense verdicts in multimillion dollar cases in state and federal courts.
Ms. Billiet has also co-authored several articles for legal publications, given Grand Rounds and claims committee presentations, as well as other professional lectures for attorneys and health care providers. In the broader community, she is Past President of the Board of Directors for the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to families experiencing conflict and violence.
