Alex Carlson is a trial attorney and associate at Waranch & Brown, LLC. In addition to his experience defending medical malpractice claims, Alex has nearly eight years of experience as a criminal law attorney.
Following law school, Alex served as a law clerk for the Major Investigations Unit in the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. He assisted in the prosecution of violent repeat offenders, members of gang organizations, and participants in complex narcotics conspiracies.
Alex then worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office. There, he prosecuted a wide variety of cases, including criminal assault, economic crimes, and homicides. In addition to engaging in significant Constitutional law motions practice, Alex tried over 200 cases, which include trials for armed robbery, burglary, domestic assault, and first-degree murder.
Since joining Waranch and Brown, Alex has utilized his years of experience as a prosecutor and litigator to represent both criminal and civil defendants — presenting a strong defense and zealously advocating on their behalf in court.
