Maya T. Habash is a trial attorney and associate at Waranch & Brown, LLC. Ms. Habash is gaining considerable experience defending medical malpractice cases, as well as representing health care providers in professional licensing matters.
Prior to joining Waranch & Brown, Ms. Habash served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Anthony F. Vittoria on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, where she worked on civil, criminal, and family law matters.
Ms. Habash received her law degree in 2022 from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender & Class. She also worked as a Summer Associate for another local medical malpractice firm and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable George L. Russell, III, on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Upon graduation, Ms. Habash was a recipient of the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievements and service to the law school.
Prior to law school, Ms. Habash obtained her Bachelor of Arts in criminology & criminal justice and government & politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Ms. Habash is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Maryland Defense Counsel, and the MD-DC Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
