Madeline Dwivedi is a trial attorney and an associate at Waranch & Brown, LLC. Ms. Dwivedi is gaining considerable experience defending medical malpractice cases, as well as representing health care providers in professional licensing matters.
Ms. Dwivedi began her career in the health care industry as a registered nurse, working in the emergency department and, more recently, pediatric intensive care unit, where she received the “Nurse of the Year” award in 2020. Her experiences within the health care system turned her into the Nurse Policy Leader of her hospital, expanding and evaluating hospital policies to better protect patients and her fellow providers, and inspired her to become a health care attorney.
Prior to joining Waranch & Brown, Ms. Dwivedi worked as an associate at Epstein Becker & Green in their Washington, DC, office. Ms. Dwivedi then served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Charles D. Austin on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
Ms. Dwivedi received her law degree in 2023 from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, graduating cum laude, with a specialty in health care law. She interned at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Project HEAL (Health, Education, Advocacy, and Law), providing legal services to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Additionally, Ms. Dwivedi served as an Associate Editor on the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy and worked for another local medical malpractice firm throughout her time in law school.
Prior to law school, Ms. Dwivedi obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ms. Dwivedi’s nursing license remains active in the State of Maryland.
Ms. Dwivedi is licensed in Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Fourth Circuit. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association.
