Barry C. Goldstein

Barry Goldstein is a trial attorney and partner at Waranch & Brown. His practice focuses on representing physicians, hospitals and research institutions. In addition, Mr. Goldstein has represented defendants involved in lead paint litigation. He has represented health care providers before all levels of Maryland and Federal Courts. Recently, Mr. Goldstein argued before Maryland’s highest Court in a matter that resulted in a reported opinion in which the Court defined Maryland law on specific tort duties.

Mr. Goldstein has represented food service manufacturers and operators in products liability litigation. He has lectured on risk management issues before hospitality industry associations. Mr. Goldstein also has initiated guardianship proceedings on behalf of health care institutions and residents. He is a member of the Baltimore County Adult Guardianship Review Board.

Mr. Goldstein received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1995, his Master’s of Professional Studies from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in 1979, and his Bachelor’s of Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1977. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Albert J. Matricciani, Jr. on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and as an intern to Judge J. Norris Byrnes on the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. In addition, in 2016 Baltimore Magazine and Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine identified Mr. Goldstein as a “Super Lawyer” in the field of Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Defense.
